Hi all! I’m Kim Higgins, owner of a boutique beauty team offering both hair and makeup services. The cliche is true- you find love when you least expect it! My husband and I met through mutual friends and one of our first dates was a color run in Brooklyn (both of us aren’t runners).
- In 2019, we eloped in Utah, followed by a delayed reception in Manhattan months later.
My beginnings started while working for 3 beauty companies across the country, and on several TV shows. It wasn't until I was faced with planning my own elopement that I decided to start Eye For Beauty LLC (Eye For Beauty CT on social). Having traveled to every state except Alaska & Hawaii, I knew what products hold up best dependent on what location you're in.
I want to be known much more than just the owner of beauty company specializing in authentic looks and boho vibes. I want brides and their entire bridal party to be WOW-ed by how deeply we care about making your big day memorable, which starts the very moment a bride inquires. We take pride in getting back to brides quickly, answering questions, and giving advice.
As a licensed esthetician, I decided to take additional courses specializing in Gua Sha from three different institutes.

Our freelance makeup artists and hair stylists travel to you on your big day- whether it’s your venue, hotel, or home. We do much more than just show up- we help plan your beauty timeline, answer any questions you have about the wedding process, and recommend amazing vendors.
FUN FACTS
Cooking really brings my family together, we love making fresh pasta, eclairs from scratch, and trying a new recipe
I collect calendars, textured paper, journals, stationary, and tea cups.
Growing up I wanted to be a singer traveling cross country, living on a tour bus with my family.
Favorite songs: Wonderwall, Mr Jones, All You Wanted (Michelle Branch)
Since elementary school, Tanzania has been on my bucket list.
